Jalandhar July 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized an NSS Orientation Programme to acquaint newly enrolled volunteers with the objectives, activities, and significance of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The programme aimed to inspire students to actively participate in community service and nation-building initiatives.
During the orientation, volunteers were introduced to the aims and motto of NSS, regular activities, seven-day special camps, NSS certificates, and the MY Bharat Portal. They were encouraged to participate in social service activities such as plantation drives, blood donation camps, Swachhta Abhiyan, health awareness campaigns, digital literacy programmes, and voter awareness initiatives while promoting the spirit of “Not Me, But You.”
