The Eco Club of Apeejay College of Fine Arts took a pledge to conserve the environment

Jalandhar April 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- 80 students of Eco Club of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar visited Harike Patan, the largest wetland of North India. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views about this visit, said that its objective is to introduce the students to the various flora and fauna of Harike Patan and to educate them about the importance of nature and its necessity in life. She added it is necessary to sensitize them about the environment and encourage them to play their part in its protection.

The students enjoyed the visit and experienced the joy of freshness of nature by spending time.

Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Simkee Dev, Incharge, Eco Club, Ms Lovepreet Kaur, Ms. Anuradha, Dr. Pooja and Mr. Gurvinder Singh for arranging this visit for the students.
