Jalandhar December 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The 17th Indo-Nepal Karate Championship was held at Batala recently, where students of Innocent Hearts School, Loharan and Cantt Jandiala Road showcased their exceptional skills.
Abhijeet Singh and Sukhmani from Loharan displayed excellent skills and technique in their respective categories and won gold medals, while Bhavika Babbar and Angel Chahal displayed their impressive Karate skills and sportsmanship and won silver medals. Pratham Sood, a student of Cantt Jandiala Road, won gold and Jayesh won silver medal.
The students also performed brilliantly in the 3rd International Karate Championship held at Nawanshahr. Top Karate players from 4 countries – India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal participated in this competition. Abhijeet Singh won gold medal, while Angel Chahal won silver medal. Hiten Gill, Sukhmani Kaur and Bhavika Babbar won bronze medals. Jayesh and Pratham Sood of Cantt Jandiala Road won gold and bronze medal respectively.
