Jalandhar March 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar regularly arranges industrial visits for the students to give them exposure to the practical makings of the goods.
40 students of PG Department of Commerce and Management visited Sheetal Industry. During this visit, the students learnt about the production process of Shital Industry and also about internal auditing, maintenance of account books and payroll handlings. Officials of Sheetal Industries also proposed internship and employment opportunities for the students. They also learnt about the retail outlets of Shital Industries.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra thanked Ms. Vani Vij (Director, Shital Industries) for giving students an opportunity to visit the Industry. She also said that visiting Industries certainly proves to be informative and resourceful for the students. They witness the production process along with understanding its financial management. She added that the idea behind sending students to industries is to learn about the implications of theorical knowledge. She appreciated the efforts of Ms Garima Arora and Mr. Amandeep Thakur for guiding the students for industrial visits and encouraged them to keep up the good work in future also.
