Jalandhar November 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Disha – An Initiative organized an Annual Champions Award Distribution (ACE) ceremony to honor the champs students of Innocent Hearts’ five schools (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road) in the sports sector.
The Chief Guest of the day was Shri Pankaj Kumar (Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jalandhar) and Special Guest was Shri Pankaj Sarpal (EDP Head, Regional Provident Fund Office, Jalandhar).
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Special Guest and the members of the management, followed by a Shiv Vandana by the students. This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Dheeraj Banati (Deputy Director Expansion Affiliation Planning Implementation) apprised every one of the trust’s ongoing efforts through Disha – An Initiative. He emphasized the need to promote sports and social awareness among the youth, ensuring their overall development.
National-level champs will receive coaching in various sports at Innocent Hearts Loharan, facilitated by the trust. Loharan has been developed as a sports hub, featuring international-standard shooting ranges, basketball courts, soccer tables, air hockey tables, self-defense training, yoga, and meditation zones.
The event featured colorful cultural programs, including dance and music performances.

The Chief Guest Shri Pankaj Kumar felicitated approximately 400 students who won at the national, state, and district levels. Parents of national-level winners were also invited. The chief guest applauded the facilities provided for sports and the concession in tuitionfee to national, state, and district-level champions by Bowry Memorial and Educational and Medical Trust.
Chairman Dr. Anup Bowry and Director CSR Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry presented mementos to the Chief Guest and Special Guest, respectively.
The program was anchored by the students Innocent Hearts Group. On this occasion of Mrs Shally Bowry, Executive Director Schools, Mrs. Aradhana Bowry Executive Director Colleges were also present.
The sports team of Innocent Hearts was appreciated and honoured at the stage.
The event concluded with a captivating Bhangra performance.
