Jalandhar April 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NCC Unit of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a solemn and powerful Solidarity March to pay tribute to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Phalgam.
The event was held in collaboration with faculty members, and local community members, to stand united against terrorism and express unwavering support for the families of the affected.
Led by ANO Captain Priya Mahajan, the march witnessed the active participation of NCC cadets who carried placards bearing strong anti-terrorism slogans and messages of unity. Prominent Social Activist Mr. Surinder Saini, along with faculty members and concerned citizens, also joined the march past, creating a powerful visual of communal harmony and patriotic solidarity.
The march served not only as a tribute to the innocent lives lost but also as a strong message that “We are all Indians first”—bound together in the face of any adversity. At the conclusion of the march, a two-minute silence was observed to honour the memory of the departed souls.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the NCC Unit and emphasized the importance of standing together as a nation during testing times. The march reinforced the values of unity, peace, and collective resilience among the youth and the community.
