Jalandhar February 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Rotaract Club of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, and the Rotary Club of Jalandhar joined hands with Dr. Arora Refina and Eye Hospital, Jalandhar, to organize a special project titled ‘Peripheral Vision Self-Test.’ This initiative aimed to benefit students across Jalandhar District by detecting vision problems at an early stage and ensuring timely interventions for their well-being.
The project was formally inaugurated by Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, who emphasized the importance of contributing wholeheartedly to such a noble cause. He highlighted the significance of early detection of eyesight issues, particularly among students, to support their academic progress and overall quality of life.
The occasion was also graced by Mrs. Kawaljit, Mrs. Seema Tiwari, and members of the Rotaract Club.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the Managing Committee, and the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, congratulated the Rotaract Club for undertaking this meaningful initiative. They acknowledged the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in promoting eye health among students and ensuring a brighter future for them.
