Jalandhar October 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Punjabi Department of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, organized an educational and cultural trip to Amritsar with the aim of enhancing the students’ academic, historical, and cultural knowledge. Students from the Punjabi Department participated in this trip with great enthusiasm.

During the trip, the students paid their respects at Sri Harmandir Sahib and gained a spiritual experience. Subsequently, they visited Jallianwala Bagh, where they learned about the historical events linked to India’s freedom struggle and the sacrifices made by the martyrs.

During this trip, Ms. Anuradha and Dr. Raman Dhadra accompanied the students and guided them throughout the journey. The teachers apprised the students of the significance of the historical and cultural sites.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra commended the Punjabi Department’s initiative, stating that such educational trips play a significant role in directly connecting students with their history, culture, and heritage, which goes beyond classroom learning.

This trip by the Punjabi department proved to be an enlightening, engaging, and memorable experience for the students. Through this journey, the students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into Punjab’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
