Nikita Chauhan represented India in 4th Asian Universities Women Softball Asia Cup- 2024 held at Taichung, Taiwan
Jalandhar November 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always motivate its students to excel in all kinds of extra curricular activities. In an another major achievement, Nikita Chauhan, a National Level Softball Player of KMV represented India in 4th Asian Universities Women Softball Asia Cup- 2024 held at Taichung, Taiwan. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi honoured the national champion. It is pertinent to mention that Nikita has made the KMV proud by bringing laurels in different state & national level tournaments.
She has secured a Silver Medal in All India Inter-University Softball Championship, she also two times participated in Senior National Softball Championship, also secured three times Gold Medal in Senior State Softball Championship, has also participated in Junior National Softball Championship & has also secured Two Gold Medals and One Silver Medal as a Captain in the Inter-college Championship organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the national champion on her brilliant achievement. She averred that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities.
They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes. Prof. Dwivedi also adumbrated that KMV will continue to provide these facilities to the students who continue to prove their mettle in sports arena. Nikita Chauhan extended her gratitude towards KMV and said that it is only due to the able guidance provided by Madam Principal and teachers that she was able to achieve this height of success. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Davinder for this brilliant achievement.
