Jalandhar December 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Principal KMV, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi was invited as a Panellist in the IIC regional Meet 2023 for the Session: Regional IIC Consortium Meeting and Action Plan Preparation, held at Panjab University, Chandigarh for being recognised as one of the best performing Institutions Innovation Council Institutions by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell.

During the meet, Prof. Dwivedi highlighted that being a non-technical institution, KMV has achieved marvelous achievement in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship by introducing new-age innovative programmes. She further added that by introducing entrepreneurship courses across various disciplines, KMV has taken a crucial step towards fostering innovation and encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset among students.

She stressed that offering such courses would help educational institutions to equip students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to identify and seize entrepreneurial opportunities. She also provided valuable inputs on collaboration between colleges, universities and industries to facilitate knowledge exchange, research commercialization, and industry-driven curriculum development.

Her views were highly appreciated by the officials of MIC, Govt. of India. KMV also participated in Udyami Bazaar, Innovation Stall & Poster Presentation at the regional meet & the stalls of KMV were highly appreciated by the judges and visitors.

The MoE’s Innovation Cell, New Delhi lauded the efforts of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi and KMV- IIC team in promoting the innovation & entrepreneurship culture among the students and faculty of KMV and other institutions as well. Dr. Rashmi Sharma,Dr. Neetu Chopra, Mrs. Rashmi Bindra, Dr. Surbhi, Ms. Arti and Ms. Spardha also attended IIC Regional Meetat Panjab University, Chandigarh.
