Jalandhar August 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Team of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Poster Making Competition Emerging Young Change Makers : A Health conclave under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The students participated enthusiastically and presented posters on the topics zoonotic diseases, nutrition and agriculture linkages, climate and nectar ecology, clean environment solutions.
Through the posters, the students insisted on the need to maintain a clean and green environment and created awareness about the health diseases. In the competition Gurasis Kaur of BFA Sem III got first prize followed by Khyati Saini B.Voc BFS Sem III and Radha BFA Sem III who got second and third prize respectively. The competition was judged by Mrs. Deepshikha, faculty incharge Science and Dr. Shailendera Kumar, Asstt. Prof. Fine Arts Department.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Dr. Navroop Dean Youth Welfare, Dr. Minakshi Duggal Mehta Coordinator Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Mrs. Shifali Kashyap member Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and encouraged them to organize such competition in future also. On this occasion Ms. Akarshi Jain, IPS ADCP was also present. She motivatd the students and congratulated them for being part of the competition.
