Jalandhar April 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PG Department of Computer Science & IT in Collaboration with IQAC of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar conducted a Poster Making competition.
The event aimed to foster creativity. Participants were given one hour to create posters. The posters were judged by Mrs. Seevani Sharma and Dr Lovely Sharma.
The winners of the competition are Sakshi Sharma from BCA Sem IV got first prize. Bram Jeet from BCA Sem II and Gauri from BCA Sem IV got second prize. Khima from BCA Sem II and Loveleen Soni from Sem II got third prize.
This activity not only encouraged artistic expression and innovation but also enhanced awareness and critical thinking on pressing issues among participants. By translating complex messages into impactful visuals, students developed communication skills and a deeper understanding of the chosen topics, making the event both educational and meaningful.
In the end, Mrs. Shivani Sharma congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the students. Mrs. Sapna Thakur, Mrs. Gaganpreet Kaur, Ms. Navjot Kaur, Ms. Deepika and Ms. Khushi also witnessed the event.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the dedicated efforts of the department.
