Jalandhar May 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PG Department of Computer Science & IT in Collaboration with Placement Cell of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar conducted a Five Day Workshop on MS Office.
Mrs. Sapna Thakur and Ms. Khushi were the speakers of the event wherein they taught the students about MS-EXCEL, MS- WORD and MS-POWERPOINT.
The students were taught basic features, including shortcuts and table designs in MS-WORD, illustrated steps to draft presentations in MS-POWERPOINT as well as application of formulas in MS-EXCEL.
The program was chiefly curated to go beyond the curriculum and provide hands-on experience and polish students’ skills for a thoroughly professional setting.
In the end, Mrs. Shivani Sharma congratulated and appreciated the efforts of teachers and encouraged the students to participate in more such technical workshops which would benefit them in future.
The activity culminated to successful completion owing to the successful efforts of Dean Dr. Lovely Sharma and the other organisers of the event Mrs. Gaganpreet Kaur, Ms. Navjot Kaur and Ms. Deepika.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar expressed sincere admiration for the dedicated efforts of the department.
