Jalandhar May 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a One Month Free Skill-Oriented Course on Tally Prime 2.1 (Accounting Software) from April 29, 2024, to May 29, 2024. These classes were intended for students who have completed SSC-II Commerce.
The course provided detailed knowledge about Tally ERP9 software, including shortcut keys, the Gateway of Tally screen, and Gateway of Tally menu options. Students were taught the steps for creating, altering, and deleting companies, ledgers, and voucher entries. They also received hands-on training in preparing a Day Book, Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Ratios in both Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime 2.1. This training facilitated the instant generation of E-way bills and E-Invoices.
The skill-oriented course offered students practical experience in using technology to prepare and maintain accounts on a daily basis. It was a fruitful and educational experience for the students, who were enthusiastic about learning the practical application of accounting entries and ledgers. A total of 42 students enrolled in the course, and 21 students were awarded certificates of course completion on the concluding day.
