Jalandhar November 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM SD College for Women Jalandhar organised a workshop on ‘Problem Solving and Ideation’ under the Institutions Innovation Council by the department of B.A. B.Ed. The resource person for this session was Dr. Monica Mahajan (Guru Nanak College of Education Dallewal Hoshiarpur). The objective of this workshop was to develop problem solving skills among students. The speaker familiarised students with the problems faced in daily life and ways to combat them. She held that first the problem should be identified and then the possible solutions should be analyzed and the best course of action should be decided.
An activity related to this was also conducted with the students. At the end of the workshop, the speaker addressed the questions of the students and clarified their doubts. The session proved very informative. The workshop was conducted through Zoom meeting. President Shri Naresh Budhiya, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the participants and motivated them to participate in such programs. She also congratulated the members of the Institutions Innovation Council for their effort.
