Jalandhar May 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PCM S.D. Senior Secondary Collegiate School commenced the new academic session 2025–26 with the performance of a Havan ceremony on the school premises, upholding the age-old tradition of the institution—a beacon of women’s education and empowerment.
The ceremony was organized to invoke the blessings of the Almighty, seeking divine grace for a prosperous, healthy, and optimistic beginning to the new academic year. The holy rituals were conducted in a serene and spiritual atmosphere, symbolizing purification, positivity, and renewal.
Principal Dr Pooja Prashar, along with the dedicated members of the faculty, offered prayers and made ceremonial offerings to the sacred fire. The rituals were followed by the distribution of prasad, marking the conclusion of the ceremony with shared joy and devotion.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the revered members of the Managing Committee, along with Principal Dr Pooja Prashar, extended their heartfelt congratulations to both teachers and students on stepping into a new phase of academic life.
