Jalandhar November 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Political Science at PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary Girls School, Jalandhar, celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm. The department organized an awareness program highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution.
During the event, Ms. Jaswinder Kaur, Assistant Professor in Political Science, delivered an enlightening session on the importance of the Constitution and the invaluable contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in drafting and implementing this historic document. Her address inspired the students to understand and uphold the principles of justice, liberty, and equality enshrined in the Constitution.
A quiz competition was also conducted as part of the celebration, where three teams—Justice, Liberty, and Law—participated. Team Liberty emerged as the winner, securing the first prize, followed by Team Law in the second position, and Team Justice in the third.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice-President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee, and the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, congratulated the Department of Political Science for organizing this meaningful event. The Principal also emphasized the importance of fulfilling the duties outlined in the Constitution and encouraged students to contribute to the nation’s progress by adhering to its ideals.
