Jalandhar December 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To raise awareness about the pressing issue of drug abuse, PCM S.D. Collegiate School, under the aegis of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a Poster Making Competition on the theme ‘Say No to Drugs.’ The event aimed to educate students about the harmful consequences of drug addiction, particularly among the youth of Punjab, and to encourage them to contribute to the fight against this societal menace.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creativity and understanding of the theme through impactful artwork. In a closely contested event, Bhavya (+1) secured the first position, Maithilli (+1) bagged the second position, and Anita (+2) claimed the third position.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the managing committee, and the worthy Principal Prof.Dr. Pooja Prashar commended the efforts of the participants. They also lauded the dedication of School Incharge Mrs. Sushma Sharma in organizing such meaningful initiatives. The presence of faculty members Ms. Anita, Mrs. Monika, and Mrs. Ruhi added further encouragement to the event.
