Jalandhar May 6 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the able guidance of the honorable Principal, Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, the P.G Dept of Fashion Designing organized a National Webinar on “Innovation and Design Development.” The resource person for the session was Mr. Rohit, a renowned fashion designer from GKIIFT, New Delhi. All students of the PG Dept of Fashion Designing, along with faculty members, participated in this webinar. Mr. Rohit guided the participants regarding different aspects of Designing in the Fashion field. He shared his journey as a Fashion Designer as well as a Fashion Faculty.
He talked about various kinds of Innovations related to the fashion industry and also shared his experiences about the key features to develop a good design. Furthermore, he guided the budding designers by sharing his own experiences while working with eminent designers. He motivated the students by explaining the importance of Design Development and new Innovations in the designing field for becoming successful designers. All participants learned about new opportunities in the field of design development through this session by Internship under famous designers.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, esteemed members of the managing committee, and Principal Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar lauded the department for organizing such a meaningful event, which underscored the significance of this seminar for enabling the students to create new Innovations in designing. At this moment, HOD Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, along with other faculty members of the Fashion Designing Department was also present.
