Jalandhar March 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The P.G. Department of Computer Science & IT of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a two-day International Conference on “Shaping a Sustainable Future with Artificial Intelligence (SSFWAI-26)”. Sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), the conference aimed to deliberate upon the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in addressing global challenges and building a sustainable technological future.
The conference began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the spread of knowledge. A floral welcome was then accorded to the dignitaries by Shri Vinod Dada, Senior Vice President of the Managing Committee, the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, Mrs. Shivani Sharma, Honorary Advisor of the conference and Head of the P.G. Department of Computer Science & IT, and Dr. Lovely Sharma, Convenor of the Conference.
The welcome address was delivered by the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, who highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping modern society and emphasized the role of academic institutions in promoting research and innovation in emerging technologies. This was followed by the introductory address by Dr. Lovely Sharma, Convenor of the conference, who acquainted the audience with the objectives and theme of the conference and emphasized the significance of Artificial Intelligence in creating sustainable solutions for contemporary challenges.
