Jalandhar September 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Buddy Program of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized an Essay Writing Competition on the topic “Drug Abuse & Its Effects on the Social Fabric.” Nearly twenty students participated with enthusiasm, aiming to raise awareness about the grave impact of drug abuse on individuals and society at large.
In the competition, Palak (B.A.BEd Semester I) bagged the first position, while Kalpana (B.Sc. Computer Science, Semester V) and Anamika (B.A. Semester V) secured the second and third positions respectively.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the participants for their insightful contributions and encouraged them to continue spreading awareness against drug abuse. The Principal also lauded the dedicated efforts of the faculty members managing the Buddy Program for successfully organizing this impactful event.
