Jalandhar April 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Office Management and Secretarial Practices arranged a visit to the Philatelic Museum at the General Post Office in Jalandhar. Mrs. Meenu Kalia, Postal Assistant, along with Sh. Rajiv Kohli and Sh. Sanjog Paharia, Philatelists, led the workshop. The primary objective of this workshop was to guide the students on how to collect and design stamps. They also provided a brief description of various national competitions related to philately.
President Shri Naresh Bhudia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honorable members of the managing committee and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar stated that conducting such visits is highly sensitized towards empowering women in the region by facilitating their all-around development. She also praised the efforts of Mrs. Seema Tiwari, the in-charge of the Department of Office Management and Secretarial Practices, for organizing such events to broaden the students’ worldview and instill positive and constructive hobbies in them.
