Jalandhar July 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The History Association of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a special lecture to commemorate the death anniversary of Shaheed Udham Singh, the fearless revolutionary and true patriot who laid down his life for the freedom of India. The lecture was delivered by Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur, who highlighted the inspiring life, revolutionary spirit, and patriotic sacrifice of Shaheed Udham Singh. She shed light on his historic act of avenging the Jallianwala Bagh massacre by assassinating General O’Dwyer and emphasized his deep commitment to India’s independence movement.
Dr. RenuBala was also present during the session. She encouraged the students to draw inspiration from national heroes like Udham Singh and uphold the values of courage, justice, and patriotism. The lecture was attended by students, who paid heartfelt tribute to the martyr and gained valuable insights into India’s struggle for freedom.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the managing committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the History Association for organizing such a meaningful event that not only honours the legacy of national heroes but also instills patriotic values among students.
