Jalandhar January 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Speech Competition on the occasion of World Hindi Day under the aegis of the Hindi Sahitya Dhara. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 30 students of B.A. and B.A. B.Ed., who eloquently expressed their views on the relevance and global significance of the Hindi language.
Students including Romil, Manu Kaushal, Kanishka, and Divanti actively participated in the competition and delivered insightful speeches highlighting the growing importance of Hindi at the international level. The participants discussed the expanding presence of Hindi across the globe and emphasized that Hindi serves as a powerful voice of India’s national identity. They also underscored that the growth of the Hindi language is intrinsically linked with the preservation and enrichment of India’s rich cultural heritage, thereby spreading awareness among fellow students.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, and other honorable members of the Managing Committee, along with the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, extended their best wishes and lauded the initiative taken to promote Hindi language and literature among students. She also appreciated the sincere efforts of Dr. Neena Mittal and Ms. Deevakshi for successfully organizing the event and motivating students to engage with the Hindi language in a meaningful manner.
