Jalandhar January 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya observed Parakram Diwas with great reverence and patriotic spirit to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, NCC Army and Air Wing cadets led by ANO Sonia Mahindru and CTO Purnima Sharma extended a formal salute to Netaji as a mark of respect and admiration for his indomitable courage and leadership.
Principal Dr Khosla addressed the students and inspired them to imbibe the values of bravery, discipline, and selfless service as exemplified by Netaji. She remarked that the youth must move forward with determination towards a Viksit Bharat, carrying within them a deep sense of patriotic fervour and a commitment to nation-building, inspired by the ideals of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.The programme witnessed active participation from NCC cadets, Student Council members, faculty, non-teaching staff, and students.
The stage was conducted by Head Girl Gurleen along with Sgt. Pahul Jabal, Assistant Head Girl. Cadet Sharanjit Kaur (Army Wing) delivered a thought-provoking speech, while Cadet Shruti Choudhary (Air Wing) and Muskan from the Student Council recited poems. The Music Department presented a soulful song , led by Dr. Prem Sagar and Dr. Gunjan. The cadets displayed posters highlighting the significance of Parakram Diwas. The Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and Students offered a floral tribute. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks,acknowledging the collective efforts of every member in making the event a success.
