Jalandhar July 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized an Orientation programme for the new entrants to the college. The students from various streams were acquainted with the functioning of the college in this programme which was spearheaded by the Faculty of Languages, School of Social Sciences, School of Performing Arts, and Dept of Journalism and Mass Communication. Dr Navjot S Deol acquainted the students with the different college activities and functions in which they could participate during the years and college.
The students were encouraged to explore their talent as interdisciplinary learning is a special feature of this college. The students were also made familiar with different student bodies which they could join and which would be instrumental in grooming them to become more confident individuals in the years to come. Principal, Dr Neerja Dhingra encouraged the students to make full use of the opportunities and platforms that the college is offering to them.
She said that all the staff members would be doing their level best to ensure that all the students realise their full potential and get optimum benefit from their years in college. The students were also motivated to enroll themselves in skill improvement classes which would improve their prospects in the future. The Orientation Programme familiarized the students with the college as well as the faculty of the college.
