Jalandhar June 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS Volunteers of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, under the guidance of their mentor and NSS Dean, Ms. Simkee Dev, enthusiastically participated in the large-scale ‘CM Ki Yogshala’ event, organized on the eve of International Yoga Day under the visionary initiative of the Punjab Government.
The event was graced by Chief Guest, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, who emphasized the significance of incorporating yoga into daily routines for holistic health. In his address, Dr. Singh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting physical and mental well-being among the youth.
Students from numerous schools and colleges across Punjab came together to perform a wide range of Yogasanas with great dedication and energy. The event reflected the youth’s growing awareness of health, discipline, and wellness.
All participants were provided with refreshments, yoga mats, and T-shirts, and were awarded certificates of participation to recognize their active involvement.
Sharing her views on the occasion, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said:
