Jalandhar August 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Students at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar are always eager to learn something new to enhance their academic achievements. Continuing this tradition, Ms. Aarfa Sehgal, an expert in Vastu Shastra, recently shared her knowledge with first-semester students of the Design Department.
Ms. Sehgal explained that when constructing a house, it is important to consider the five elements of nature: fire, air, earth, sky, and water. This approach ensures a harmonious and beneficial living environment. She emphasized that the kitchen should be located in the area associated with fire, while the bathroom should be in the area corresponding to water. Similarly, a prayer room should be constructed in a specific and auspicious direction. She also mentioned that choosing a plot for the house with Vastu principles in mind can bring good fortune to the residents.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra praised Ms. Aarfa Sehgal for sharing her knowledge and experience, expressing pride in the students’ eagerness to expand their knowledge beyond their regular studies. She also commended the efforts of head of Design Department Ms. Rajni Gupta and Ms. Rajni Kumar for guiding the students into new areas of learning.
