Jalandhar November 21 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- LKCTC celebrated national mentoring week for its students to mentor them regarding each aspect of life. The objective of the event was to to encourage interactive discussions and synergies for everyone in the campus involving both faculty and students.
The highlights of the celebration was mentoring session of the faculty by Dr. Pallavi Khanna, an experienced mental health professional, in which faculty and staff members were enlightened about the significance, necessity, key benefits and methods of providing mentoring and guidance to the students.
Apart from it, peer mentoring sessions from senior students were provided to the juniors to raise awareness among them. Additionally, the Alumni of the institution provided guidance to the current students regarding career opportunities and recent trends prevailing in the industry. Moreover, the faculty mentors had one-to-one interaction with their mentees and discussed about their various concerns affecting their daily life.
S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director A.A. KCL Group) & Dr.R.S. Deol (Director-LKCTC) appreciated the efforts of faculty and aluminis of the Institute for mentoring the students and showing concern in every aspect and also motivated to conduct such events in future too.
