Jalandhar August 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PG Department of Political Science of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized an educational tour of Punjab Legislative Assembly and Punjab and Haryana High court. Under this, students attended a live session of the assembly and the High court proceedings that was in progress. These sessions are highly educative and informative to the students. The information was given by the college Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu who briefed that participating 50 students of the department were welcomed by the Honourable speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Kultar.
Also students got an opportunity to meet MLA Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi from Banga and Sardar Manjit Singh Bilaspur from Moga. And with the efforts of Punjab Legislative Assembly’s incharge officer Mamraj. President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir kaur congratulated the students on this occasion Head of the Department Dr. Anu Kumari informed that this educational tour proved informative to the students. The occasion was witnessed by the teachers of the department Dr. Ajitpal Singh, Prof. Sanjay Shad and Prof. Livpreet.
