Jalandhar April 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Center for Guru Granth Sahib Studies, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, is going to organize a vibrant and spiritually enriching celebration of Khalsa Sajna Divas on April 15, 2026, within the college campus. The event aims to commemorate the creation of the Khalsa by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and to promote the values of discipline and spiritual awareness among students.

A variety of competitions have been planned to engage students and encourage their participation in cultural, religious, and intellectual activities. The details of the competitions, along with the number of registered participants, are as follows:

● Gurbani Kanth Competition – 22 participants

● Elocution Competition – 19 participants

● Poster Presentation – 33 participants

● Quiz Competition – 24 participants

● Turban Show – 18 participants

The enthusiastic response from students reflects their deep interest in Sikh heritage and values. The Turban Show, in particular, is expected to showcase the elegance of Sikh identity and personality. The event will not only provide a platform for students to display their talents but will also strengthen their connection with the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Rachpal Singh Sandhu, in his message, said that Khalsa Sajna Divas inspires us to follow the path of truth, service, and discipline. He encouraged the students to actively participate in such spiritual and cultural events and extended his best wishes for the success of the programme.
