Jalandhar June 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar is constantly on the move for the holistic development of students. The students here excel in academic field as well as in sports. A three-day sports trial was started at the college to select the players for the new session 2024-25. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh specially attended these sports trials. On this occasion, he welcomed the sports students to join the college, wished them well and encouraged them to appear in trials with full sports spirit and dedication.
He told the students that as true sports persons if they dedicate themselves to sports and perform for the college, the college will provide them every possible facility. He said that on the first, second and third day of the sports trials, there were trials of various sports in which about 450 sportsmen and students gave trials. He said that those selected in these trials will be provided opportunities to participate in inter-college, inter-varsity, national and international level sports.
Mr. Manjinder Singh International Athlete, Mr. Dhanwant Kumar, Mr. Varundeep International Footballer, Mr. Tajinder Singh, Prof. Ajay Kumar, Prof. Manvir Singh, Mr. Jagdish Singh, Mr. Amrit Lal Saini and other staff members were also present on this occasion.
