Jalandhar August 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, successfully completed the enrolment process for new NCC cadets for the academic session 2025-26 under its Army Wing Unit, functioning under the aegis of 2 PB NCC Battalion. The enrolment drive was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Karanbir Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college, Subedar Suresh Kumar and Havildar Sumit Rana from the NCC Battalion. The process witnessed an enthusiastic response from students aspiring to join the National Cadet Corps, reflecting their commitment towards discipline, leadership, and national service.

Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the newly enrolled cadets and said that becoming an NCC cadet is not just about wearing the uniform; it is about imbibing values of discipline, unity, and patriotism. I urge all new entrants to utilise this platform to shape their personality, build leadership qualities, and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. Commanding Officer Col. Vinod Joshi of 2 PB NCC Battalion extended his best wishes to the fresh batch, stating that NCC is a nursery of responsible citizens and future leaders.

My message to the new cadets is simple—work hard, train sincerely, and live by the NCC motto ‘Unity and Discipline’. After a rigorous selection procedure, the newly inducted cadets are set to undergo structured training in drill, weapon handling, map reading, field craft, adventure activities, and community service during the coming year. With the enrolment completed, the Army Wing of Lyallpur Khalsa College is all set to commence its annual training calendar, aiming to uphold the NCC’s proud tradition of producing disciplined, skilled, and socially responsible youth.
