Jalandhar September 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Post Graduate Department of Commerce of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, celebrated Teachers’ Day with immense zeal and grandeur. The event was organized to honor the dedicated faculty and commemorate the invaluable role of educators in shaping the future of students. The celebrations were graced by College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu. On this occasion, Head of the Department of Commerce Amita Shahid, alongside faculty members and students, warmly welcomed the Principal. While addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu extended his heartiest greetings on Teachers’ Day and emphasized that teachers are the true nation builders who inspire students to achieve their highest potential.
He remarked that the College has always stood as a leading institution committed to academic excellence, value-based education, and holistic development. He appreciated the Department of Commerce for its proactive academic atmosphere and commended the students for organizing the heartfelt celebration. HOD Amita Shahid, speaking on the occasion, expressed her gratitude towards Principal Dr. Sandhu for his continuous leadership and guidance. She praised the mutual bond of respect and learning between the teachers and students, encouraging the youth to uphold high moral values and dedication in their professional careers.
To mark the celebration, a cake-cutting ceremony was held in the presence of Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, HOD Amita Shahid, and the faculty members.
