Jalandhar February 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- With an objective to add value to student’s knowledge, Department of IT and CSEof LKCTC organized one Day workshop on “Data Analytics with Python”. The Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Manoj Kumar (Head, Department of IT, Lally Infosys)
Session was started with a warm welcome of Resource Person. Mr. Manoj enlightened the students with process of data analysis with various tools and techniques. He stated that in python programing language provides numerous libraries like numpy and panda for analyses of cloud based data. It connects and analyze data in the cloud easily and quickly unlike Excel, which struggles with streaming large amounts of data. During the session Mr. Manoj focused on open-source and extremely versatile feature of programming language with broad applicability in the data science industry and other disciplines. The workshop was extremely interactive and students also got answers of their queries.
Dr. Nidhi Chopra (Head, IT Dept.) and Dr. Pooja Dhand (HoD, CSE Dept.) presented vote of thanks to the resource person for sharing his knowledge and skills with students.
Dr. R.S Deol (Director, LKCTC) applauded the efforts of both the departments and stated that such activities and sessions keep students agile for their professional growth.
