Jalandhar April 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Training and placement Committee of Mechanical Engineering & Electronics and Communication Engineering departments at LKCTC organized an Industrial Visit to GNA GEARS, Mehtiana. The purpose of the visit was to enhance the practical & technical skills related to automation, CNC technology, dry machining, and CAM used in the manufacturing industry along with the workflow of the industry. Students got exposure to operations, technologies, and best practices adopted by GNA Gears. Er. Sarbrinder Pal Singh (AP-ME) and Er. Lovdeep Singh (AP-ECE) accompanied the students and guided them about their future job prospects in respective fields.
S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director, Academic Affairs, KCL Group) and Dr. R.S Deol (Director, LKCTC) appreciated the Department of ME & ECE for arranging the Industrial visit as these practices are necessary to make students aware of the latest technology being used by industry. They also motivated the departments to organize such activities in future as well, as LKCTC is committed to strengthen the academic learning of their students by keeping this practice of arranging industrial visits regularly.
