Jalandhar February 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Library Advisory Committee of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a vibrant Poster-Making competition in the college library, under IQAC, celebrating the theme “Library – Where Learning Never Ends.”
The event aimed to underscore the significance of libraries as a gateway to unlimited knowledge and lifelong learning.
Students from various streams participated enthusiastically, bringing forth their creativity and artistic expression through colorful and thought-provoking posters. The artworks beautifully depicted the library as a hub of wisdom, imagination, and endless learning opportunities.
Addressing the students, Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar emphasized the pivotal role of libraries in nurturing a habit of reading, research, and intellectual growth and maintained that it is not just a collection of books but a dynamic space where curiosity is ignited, perspectives are broadened, and lifelong learning flourishes.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the advisory committee for organising the event which served as an inspiration for students to explore, engage, and embrace the transformative power of books and research.
