Jalandhar November 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) continues to bring pride to the institution not only through education but also through outstanding performances in sports. In this series, K.M.V.’s softball player Khushdeep Kaur secured the gold medal in the 45th Senior National Softball Championship (Men-Women), once again illuminating the name of the college. Held in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Khushdeep Kaur showcased excellent gameplay, claiming this medal in her name. It is noteworthy that prior to this achievement, Khushdeep Kaur had already secured a silver medal in the 13th Federation Cup National Softball Championship held in Goa.
Additionally, she earned a bronze medal in the 39th Punjab Softball Junior National and the tournament in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, Khushdeep has also represented Punjab in in three sub junior, three Junior Nationals, and three School Nationals, along with participating in the Softball Inter-University Championship representing Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the meritorious student, wishing her a bright future, encouraging her to continue progressing with dedication and hard work. She also commended the efforts of Dr. Davinder Singh, Head of the Physical Education Department, and Ms. Manpreet Kaur.
