Jalandhar October 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students celebrated the spirit of Diwali by preparing beautifully crafted, handmade cards for their teachers. This activity was organised by Department of Student Welfare. Embracing the festive spirit, the students poured their creativity and heartfelt wishes into these cards, expressing the importance of festival. The initiative aimed to foster a sense of gratitude and strengthen the bond between students and teachers during this auspicious season. Each card was unique, adorned with vibrant colors, traditional Diwali symbols, and thoughtful messages that conveyed the students’ genuine respect and affection for their mentors.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedipraised the students’ initiative, highlighting the importance of celebrating festivals in ways that foster kindness, gratitudeand respect. She alsoemphasised that such gestures reflect the KMV’s ethos of cultivating values that go beyond academics. She also wished that this festival of lights may bring joy, success and prosperity in everyone’s life.
She averred that KMV has always encouraged students to celebrate festivals meaningfully, and this Diwali celebration was no exception as the teachers were touched by the thoughtfulness of their students, making this Diwali a memorable one for the KMV community. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare for successfully organising the celebrations.
