Jalandhar May 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) paid its heartfelt tribute to the eminent Punjabi literary figure Padma Shri Mr. Surjit Patar upon his demise. The tribute was offered by the Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, faculty members and students. Remembering the visit of Mr. Surjit Patar to KMV, Principal Dwivedi averred that he shared a cherished and affectionate bond with Kanya Maha Vidyalaya.
His occasional visits to the institution, where he interacted with the students, left a lasting impression on the students with his poetry, singing style, and remarkable personality. She further maintained that although his demise is a great loss to the Punjabi literary world, his literary works will continue to resonate with readers forever.
