Students provided practical experience in entrepreneurship and event management
Jalandhar October 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), a pioneer institution of women’s education, celebrated the spirit of Karwa Chauth by organising Karwa Chauth Dhamaka Sale.The event was organised by Department of Retail Management & featured a variety of festive items set up to mark the occasion. The event aimed to promote traditional Indian culture and provide a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. The stalls offered a wide range of products, including ethnic apparel, jewellery, mehndi artall catering to the theme of Karwa Chauth.
The event was a vibrant and lively affair, attracting a large number of students, faculty who enjoyed shopping and participating in the festive activities. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi praised the students for their enthusiastic participation and highlighted the importance of celebrating Indian traditions in modern educational settings. She averred that such events not only keep our cultural heritage alive but also provide students with practical experience in entrepreneurship and event management.
