KMVites prepare thoughtful slogans to highlight the harmful effects of drugs
Jalandhar April 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) under the directions of District Administration organised a Slogan Writing competition in order to create awareness about Drug De-addiction.The event was organised by the Department of Political Science in collaboration with Department of Fine Arts and NSS unit. Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the slogan writing competition to create the awareness for Drug De-Addiction.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged the students to participate more and more in such competitions as these are organised to make the people aware about the issues of drugs. She averred that students should make efforts to be aware of the drug menace and should protest against such issues as drug addiction is a sinful, immoral, unethical practice, which damage the society.
Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare and Mrs. Ashima Sahni, Head, Department of Political Science, Mr. Yogeshwar Hans, Head, Department of Fine Arts. The winners of this competition were Ankita (First), Bhavya (Second) & Samandeep Kaur (Third) respectively.
