Kamya Chadha and Tanvir got selected for national level examination at second level
Jalandhar February 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School under the aegis of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the pioneer institution in innovative education, always keeps inspiring the students to showcase their talent and flair. In continuation of the series of activities, International English Olympiad (IEO) was conducted in which Collegiate students participated wholeheartedly and more than 40 students appeared in the same. The brilliant KMVites brought laurels to the institution by bagging top ranks and won gold medals of distinction and excellence. Kamya Chadha from 10+1 Humanities and Tanvir from 10+2 Commerce got selected for 2nd level examination at national level to be conducted in February 2024.
Kamya also won Gold Medal of Distinction and got 1st rank. Harleen Kaur, Aditi Sahotra and Manpreet Kaur from 10+1 class won gold medal of excellence and bagged 2nd, 3rd and 4th rank respectively. Tanvir, Navjot and Manpreet Kaur from +2 class won gold medal of excellence and secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank respectively. All the winners and participants got their certificates of participation, detailed percentage chart and Student Performance Report.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi admired and applauded their achievement and congratulated Dr. Neetu Chopra, PG Department of Physics and Co-ordinator, Olympiads for successfully organizing the exam and also congratulated the winners and encouraged them to participate in these exams in the future as well. She averred that such tests prepare the students for several other exams. She further maintained that these opportunities play a vital role in identification and improvement of the English language proficiency.
