Students actively participate in two day activities
Jalandhar May 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- KMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School celebrated World Biodiversity Day. The celebrations were organised by Department of Biology in order to raise awareness among students about the conservation of biodiversity, maintaining a wide collection of plants, and protecting the environment. A two-day event was organised in which the students participated with great enthusiasm. On the first day, students conducted a rally and created awareness about saving rich biodiversity through various creative ideas and messages.
On the second day, students showcased their talent by preparing small but significant items like decorated potted plants, bird nests, and feeders. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV always prioritises environmental conservation so that the younger generation can feel their responsibility for it. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs. Veena Deepak, Coordinator, Mrs. Anand Prabha, In-charge, K.M.V. Collegiate School, Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Mrs. Sufalica, and all the staff members for successfully organising the celebrations.
