Jaahnvi Mehta from Apeejay College of Fine Arts to Represent India in Graphic Design at World Skills Lyon, France

Jalandhar June 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts has always been dedicated to preserving fine arts under the guidance of its Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, and the leadership of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman of Apeejay Education, ApeejayStya and Svarn Group, and the Chancellor of ApeejayStya University. The college has not only worked tirelessly to uphold the rich heritage of Fine arts but has also successfully embraced the modern forms of art in this digital age. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed her delight in announcing that Jaahnvi Mehta, a student of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) eighth-semester from the Applied Art Department, will represent India in Graphic Design at the World Skills Lyon 2024.

The 47th World Skills Competition scheduled to be held from September 10th to 15th, 2024 in France. Jaahnvi, who is currently undergoing three months of training in Bengaluru, provided by the Government of India for her excellent performance in graphic design, will bring great honor to the college by leading India in this prestigious competition.

Dr. Dhingra congratulated Jaahnvi on her selection for World Skills Lyon and extended her best wishes for her outstanding performance in the upcoming competition. She also commended the efforts of Mr. Anil Gupta, Head of the Applied Art Department, and Mr. Vikram Singh for their dedication in mentoring and guiding Jaahnvi.
