Jalandhar August 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The IT Forum of the PG Department of Computer Science, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, organized an Investiture Ceremony, in which deserving students of the forum were entrusted with responsibilities based on their merit and active participation in various activities.
Addressing the students of the IT Forum, Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that the purpose of the forum is to enhance students’ self-confidence and instill in them the courage to organize even large-scale events independently so that in the future they can move forward in life fearlessly. She added that the objective of such forums is not only to boost students’ confidence and refine their personalities but also to enable them to make the right decisions at the right time.
Dr. Dhingra encouraged the students by stating that if they work for the IT Forum with dedication and sincerity, it will surely give them mental strength and a clear vision to work in the right direction.
During the ceremony, the following appointments were announced: Madhusudan and Yuvika as Presidents; Aditya Bhardwaj and Sabnoor Kaur as Vice Presidents; Tanya Anand and Harkaran Singh as General Secretaries; Charu, Sanya, and Mehtab as Joint Secretaries; and Aashish Kaur and Navkeerat Singh as Treasurers.
Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Dr. Rupali Sood, Dr. Jagmohan Mago, and Ms. Pallavi Mehta honored the forum members by presenting them with badges. Dr. Dhingra also appreciated the efforts of the faculty of the Computer Science Department for successfully organizing the Investiture Ceremony.
