Jalandhar February 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Placement Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a workshop in collaboration with NASSCOM under the able guidance of the worthy Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The workshop aimed at enhancing the employability skills of students and acquainting them with the latest industry requirements. Dr. Ekta Khosla emphasized the need for professional skills, grooming, and technical awareness along with formal education to meet the expectations of the corporate world and to build a strong career. Workshop was conducted in two sessions and organised by Mr. Jagjit Bhatia and Placement Cell members.

The first session was conducted by Ms. Deepti Thakur, who spoke in detail about Resume Writing and Interview Preparation. She explained the essential sections of a resume, shared tips to make it professional and impactful, and discussed common mistakes that should be avoided. She also guided students on interview techniques, stressing the importance of confidence, positive attitude, and effective communication while answering commonly asked questions.

Ms. Anuradha joined the session in online mode and informed the students about the procedure for enrolling in interview preparation courses through the Blackbuck platform, motivating them to make the best use of the available learning resources to enhance their employability. The second session was conducted by Mr. Sankalp, who focused on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and Future Skills Development. He highlighted the ethical use of AI tools, the importance of originality, and the need to avoid plagiarism.

He also introduced students to various Future Skills Prime courses, designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills, and encouraged them to continuously upgrade themselves in emerging domains. The workshop was highly interactive and informative and provided students with valuable insights into structured career preparation, technological advancements, and the importance of skill-based learning for future job opportunities.
