Jalandhar April 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions organized BIZNOVA – Business Idea Pitching and Mini Hackathon 2026 to promote innovation, creativity, and experiential learning among students, providing them with platforms to showcase their entrepreneurial and technical skills.
The Management Department conducted BIZNOVA for MBA, BBA, and B.Com students. The event aimed to develop business thinking and was organized in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, encouraging innovation, leadership, and managerial excellence. Participants presented their ideas through creative stalls and PowerPoint presentations, highlighting their products, target markets, business models, and revenue strategies. The winning team—Simarpreet Kaur, Sidakpreet Kaur, Sehajpreet Kaur, Ekta, and Kamalpreet Kaur (B.Com 4th Semester)—was awarded for their idea “BINoVA: Smart Way Segregation System,” focusing on smart waste management.
The School of Information Technology, in collaboration with the IT Club, organized Mini Hackathon 2026 in the IT Lab. The event included Typing, Canva Designing, and Web Designing competitions, where students actively participated and showcased their skills. Lovepreet Singh secured first position in Typing, Diya second, and Sumandeep Kaur third. In Canva Designing, Navjot secured first position, while Mohd. Ushaid and Sania shared second position, and Komalpreet Kaur secured third. Navneet Kaur won first position in Web Designing.
Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju (Director Academics) and Mr. Rahul Jain (Director Operations) distributed certificates and prizes to the winners and appreciated all participants. The events encouraged students to enhance their creativity, innovation, and practical learning for future professional growth.
