Jalandhar September 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Hosts ‘Begumpura Dialogues – National Seminar 2026’ to commemorate the 650th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. The seminar served as a significant platform for intellectual reflection and meaningful dialogue on important issues including equality, human dignity, social justice, inclusivity, religious harmony and social responsibility. The seminar was graced by Shri Priyank Kanoongo, Honourable Member of the National Human Rights Commission, and Dr. Partha Biswas, Honourable Member of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, as the Chief Guests.
The event also witnessed the presence of Shri Pradeep Joshi, Shri Rajesh Bagha, Shri Vinay Joshi and Shri Satpal as Special Guests. Shri Satpal joined the programme virtually from the **United Kingdom. The presence and valuable insights of the distinguished guests enriched the discourse on social justice, equality, human dignity and the creation of an inclusive society. Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group, along with other senior members of the management, was also present on the occasion. The central theme of the seminar was inspired by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji’s vision of ‘Begumpura’, which represents an ideal society free from discrimination, inequality, oppression and injustice.

The deliberations emphasised the need to create a society where every individual enjoys equal rights, dignity, freedom, security and mutual respect, irrespective of social, religious or economic differences. This was followed by Vande Mataram and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The programme featured a series of special and expert addresses, followed by the Chief Guests’ addresses, a felicitation ceremony and a formal vote of thanks.
The deliberations highlighted the contemporary relevance of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings in addressing social inequality, discrimination and deprivation, while emphasising the importance of upholding human dignity. The concept of ‘Begumpura’ was presented as a progressive social vision promoting equal opportunities, mutual respect, social harmony, justice and peaceful coexistence. Overall, ‘Begumpura Dialogues – National Seminar 2026’ proved to be an enriching and meaningful academic and social initiative. The seminar reaffirmed the enduring relevance of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji’s philosophy and strengthened the collective commitment towards building a just, inclusive, harmonious and equitable society.
