Jalandhar May 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts College of Education, Green Model Town, Jalandhar set up a help desk for providing guidance to B.Ed. Admission seekers for the session (2024-26) and for Punjab B.Ed. common entrance test (CET) going to be conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The College Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh announced that adequate teaching and non-teaching staff members are indulged in this activity. Ms. Prabhjot Kaur is the Incharge of the cell. The candidates will be given updated information related to entrance test. The candidates will be given guidance on eligibility conditions, subject combinations, subject selection and college selection. They will also be assisted in online registration, online choice filling, college preference filling etc. He also added that all these services will be provided free of cost. Free coaching for qualifying common entrance test is also being provided.
The help desk serves not only those who are aspiring to take admission in this college but also those who want to join other colleges. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh stated that the college help desk has been setup with a purpose to guide the admission seekers and to reduce the malpractices in the admission process. Sometimes the candidates even lose their candidature in absence of proper guidance and knowledge of admission process.
